Capt. Anderson’s Marina, sponsor of the PCB Seafood & Music Festival, is hosting the Waterfront Events; a great pocket-friendly weekend involving FUN, FAMILY & FISHING - what more could you ask for!
FISH & DIVE TOURNAMENT tickets are available at Capt. Anderson’s Marina ticket office (5550 N. Lagoon Dr., Panama City Beach, FL 32408) and in town at Panama City Marina (1 Harrison Ave, Panama City, FL 32401) and will be on sale until 1 pm CST the day of event. You can fish from one of our boats, your boat, a dock, anywhere in Bay County~! Just make sure to have your tournament ticket purchased PRIOR to fishing or diving (on your angler’s honor)~!
LIONFISH Educational WORKSHOP at Gulf Coast State College on 10/16/13 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
DIVERS – Increase your chances of winning the Lionfish 2nd Annual “Lion-Tamer” Dive Tournament!

FUN FAMILY ACTIVITIES ~!
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM In addition to the FISH and DIVE TOURNAMENTS, there will be lots of things for the whole family to see and do including:- get your face painted (by the artist who created the awesome mural inside the lower deck of the Capt. Anderson III sightseeing boat!) - get into one of the FIGHTING CHAIRS and see if you can reel in the BIG ONE - FREE - mosey over to the WATERFRONT FARMERS MARKET to watch a fish filet demonstration, and take part in the ”Fish Print” activity - sit and listen to one of the OLD SALT STORYTELLERS tell about something from “way back when” - FREE - check out all the way cool artifacts and exhibitions at the FISHING HERITAGE TENT - FREE - walk through the BOAT SHOW and make a Christmas wish list- FREE - take part in the KID’S SCAVENGER HUNT and win a prize- FREE - view the BAY COUNTY ELEMENTARY “FISH ART” winners; 1st place artwork on the Tournament Totals Board, 2nd & 3rd place on display in the FISHING HERITAGE TENT- FREE - learn from the FWC and ECRA about the biggest threat to the our Gulf of Mexico Fisheries – the exotic and invasive LIONFISH - find out how to handle the venomous spines of the LIONFISH & what we can do to help eradicate them from our NW FL fishing reefs - taste a bite of Lionfish – right off the grill! - FREE - meet the Capt. Anderson III sightseeing boat captain, Capt. Ron Spriggs, aka “CHEF OF THE SEA” - find out about his love for this area and you’ll understand why he has so many families returning for another cruise here before their vacation ends! - pick out a winner for the BLUE CRAB RACE- FREE - sample one of the Special Seafood dishes (and perhaps a tasty margarita) available at MARINA CANTINA - take a relaxing cruise through the HISTORIC GRAND LAGOON - pick up some smoked fish dip and fresh shrimp for dinner from ANDERSON’S SEAFOOD MARKET - watch as the fishers come in to weigh their catch on the scale (from 12:00 pm till scales close at 6:00 pm) - Congratulate whoever brings in the most lionfish during the 2nd ANNUAL “LION-TAMER” DIVE TOURNAMENT - Congratulate the winner of the FISHING TOURNAMENT

Do you remember the very first time you ever caught a fish? Parents bring your kids, your neighbor’s kids, your cousins, AND YOUR CAMERA~! FREE and open to children ages 4-11. All gear, bait & tackle is provided, no fishing license required.
Sign up will begin at 9:00 am behind Capt. Anderson’s Restaurant. Groups of 8 or more may sign up in advance by emailing email@example.com.
Make plans to attend the Seafood & Music Festival~! After playing on the water all day, hop on over to Aaron Bessant Park and listen to a superb line up of music including: Foreigner, Loverboy, Collective Soul, Better Than Ezra, Ed Roland and the Sweet Tea Project, Andy Velo Band & Abigail Rose~! Music is scheduled for Friday night 10/18 and Saturday night 10/19.
